Speaker Bio
It has been an honor to serve as a non-Leadership Buyer representative on the Board of Directors for the past 2 years. I very much desire to continue serving for the next 2 years. My service has also included being a member of the Executive Committee and Chair of the Membership Committee. My involvement with REBA extends back to the early Business Renewables Center days as one of the precursor organizations to REBA formation. My commitment goes beyond the Board of Directors focus. I am very active on the Policy Team, several of the Advisory Boards and I have been a faculty member at all 8 of the REBA Buyer Bootcamp events. Helping other like minded companies in this community navigate their journeys to a zero carbon energy future by sharing mutual experiences and learning from each other is one of the most value added aspects of REBA. I also have passion for the future of REBA. In the 2 short years since officially forming, we made a huge impact and have become a strong voice representing buyer interests. This was exactly one of our key goals at the outset. I am excited about the work being done to develop REBA's long term strategy. These challenging and enlightening discussions will set the stage for how REBA will continue to serve our membership going into the future. I look forward to contributing to the tough talks needed as we work to set this strategy. Lastly, as a degreed engineer, I am trained to problem solve.....it is in my blood. I apply those same skills to my approach on Strategic Thought Leadership. I thrive on applying innovative thinking when considering all options available to solve an issue or generate a forward looking strategy and then implement the best option. To boldly move REBA forward, we will need to sometimes stretch ourselves outside our comfort zones to make breakthroughs. This mode of thinking will be critical as we consider the responsibility and influence our community can have to improve diversity, equity and inclusion within the industry. I stand ready to meet these challenges while serving on your Board of Directors the next 2 years.
