Having led the development and implementation of Chanel’s global renewable energy strategy, I have been an advocate for social equity and inclusion within the broader transition to renewables. In our flagship investment projects, Chanel seeks innovative models which prioritise a positive social impact in communities where we operate. One example was our recent partnership with Sunrun in North America, providing rooftop solar for low-income housing in California, as well as solar job training hours for local community residents. I’m privileged to be part of my company’s Global Diversity & Inclusion Council, which keeps me grounded in valuable perspective and insight on diversity, equity and inclusion that I can bring to my environmental work.
