I am privileged to be building a career in renewable energy, working with many great colleagues and customers along the way, across a number of domestic and international markets, constantly learning and adapting to a rapidly changing environment.

I have built and run commercial teams in several different countries, and had the opportunity to leverage on DEI initiatives to build successful and diverse organizations. In my option, diversity, inclusion and equity is not only the right thing to do from an ethical standpoint, but it also tends to generate the best business outcomes. I have been very fortunate to being able to recruit, develop, work with, and be mentored by talented colleagues from different cultural, ethnic, gender and national backgrounds. And that experience made me a much better professional and person.

I believe that by working with policymakers, customers and other partners across the renewables supply chain, we can create long-term value for shareholders and positive impact on businesses and communities. I have worked on projects and experienced firsthand how renewable energy can bring a cleaner and safer energy to underserved communities in Latin America and Caribbean, but also in the United States.

At AES, our vision is to accelerate a future where the US electric grid is truly 100% carbon free. We need to work with our customers, policymakers and other stakeholders, all together! We believe that proper data and information management create market intelligence that leads to better decision making, capital and resource allocation, and as a result, the highly innovative solutions to meet our vision and goals.
