I am excited about the opportunity to engage with REBA and its members on driving long-term, sustainable change enabling energy buyers a direct role in shaping all attributes of their supply. During my career, I have been at the forefront of launching renewable energy programs, procurement initiatives, research, overseeing development activities and providing commercial leadership in renewable transactions. My career spans over 20 years of business strategy and development experience in the energy industry and over a decade of executive leadership experience for utilities, trade associations and renewable energy companies including Arizona Public Service, Solar Electric Power Association (SEPA), First Solar and now Leeward Renewable Energy. This experience is coupled with over 12 years serving on boards including SEPA, Arizona Solar Energy Industries Association and Solar Energy Trade Shows. In my capacity as a board member, I played a key role in driving strategic thought leadership and innovative ideas to help mature and expand the organizations’ reach and objectives. My philosophy is that all board members should strive to navigate their association through the continuously-evolving needs of its members, growing opportunities for member services, considering the organization’s role in education vs. direct advocacy, expanding membership, revenue diversification, and above all helping to ensure a financial footing for delivering upon these objectives. REBA is well positioned to serve energy buyers; I believe that with my election to the board and my ability to work collaboratively with REBA’s other board members, we will achieve a zero-carbon energy future aligned with the objectives of our members.
